It is never a wrong time to visit the United States of America. Given its a vast nation, measuring almost 3,000 miles wide, five territories, a jigsaw of fifty diverse states, plus the District of Columbia, USA is a travel destination that will always thrill and delight its visitors (regardless of the four-digit number on the calendar.)

That said, 2018 is an exceptional year. With sporting excitement, grand openings, significant anniversaries, and political intrigue, this year has proven to be an opportune year for a quick spring across the Atlantic.

The list of reasons you should pay us a visit is endless, but allow me to mention a few.

  1. Our nation is a melting pot

As you probably know, USA is an astoundingly diverse country. Individuals from all over the globe immigrate here. Better yet, a vast majority of these immigrants go on to have families who are racially and ethnically diverse.

In simple terms, there is no specific type of American because everyone in this nation bears a unique upbringing as well as background; and there are distinct cultural traditions, races, religions, and political beliefs that make up the nation.

Don’t you think having a chance to witness such a multi-cultural way of living is extraordinary?

  1. The States sports hidden gems you can explore

You may scout major United States cities and visit renowned tourist attractions, but there are lots of lesser-known locations worth checking out too.

Far out farmlands and along back roads you will find small attractions and towns that do not get the attention they really deserve.

Restaurants, small shops, and abandoned sites repeatedly get passed by simply because they look meaningless, but you never know what could be inside. Trust me; You do not want to miss out on the chance to discover hidden gems.

  1. The food is delicious

Just like individuals in the USA, our menu is quite diverse. Here, you will find classic American meals like tuna casserole, macaroni and cheese, and fried chicken. There is also a myriad of places you can find dishes inspired by other nations.

I know, Mexican foods in the United States may not be as authentic as they are in Mexico, but they are delicious nonetheless. Pasta you’ll find in American restaurants is not really Italian, but Italian Americans have crafted the meal and added their own extraordinary flair to it.

Whatever you’re in the mood to eat, you will find in the United States.

Having said that, to visit the USA as a Chinese citizen, you will need to apply and acquire a US visa for Chinese citizens. Do not worry; the procedure is short and painless.

All you need to do is;

    • Fill the Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application (DS-160) form
    • Pay the visa application fee of $160
    • Schedule an appointment on this page. You’ll need the following while scheduling your appointment: your passport number, the ten digit barcode no from your DS-160 confirmation page, and the receipt number from the visa fee receipt.
  • Lastly, Visit the US consulate or embassy at the time and date of your set appointment. Ensure you carry a printed copy of your appointment letter, your passport, a clear photograph of you taken within the last six months, and your DS-160 confirmation page.
