Reneau Peurifoy
Reneau Peurifoy, holding a master’s degree in counseling, is an author with four books to his credit: "Anxiety, Phobias, and Panic: Taking Charge and Conquering Fear," "Overcoming Anxiety: From Short-Term Fixes to Long-Term Recovery," "Anger: Taming the Beast," and "Why Did God Give Us Emotions?" His debut book, "Anxiety, Phobias, and Panic," has undergone three revisions and achieved success. With a career spanning twenty years in private practice as a marriage and family therapist specializing in anxiety disorders, Reneau transitioned to teaching at a local college in Sacramento, California, until his retirement in 2015. A guitarist with a passion for music, he currently plays lead electric for two Sunday services at his church and has expanded his focus to writing, speaking, and providing pastoral counseling for individuals with anxiety-related issues. In 2015, after retiring from teaching, he obtained a ministerial credential from the Church of God headquartered in Anderson, Indiana. Alongside his counseling work, Reneau has developed a YouTube channel featuring videos on practical life skills.
