Doesn’t it feel as though Mr. Rogers were speaking directly to you?
Fred Rogers always made it his goal for every one of his young viewers to feel personally connected to his show.
He wanted children to know they were loved so that they could explore themselves and their world without fear.
Mr. Rogers believed that fear was the most toxic thing that could exist in a person’s life.
He reasoned that if you feel afraid, you can’t grow and become the best version of yourself.
When you feel confident that you are not in danger and all your basic needs will be met, you can then grow and improve on yourself without fear.
Think of what you can achieve if you leave fear behind you!

I just watched the movie; “It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” yesterday and there were two lines that stuck with me the most. 1.] Mr. Rogers (Tom Hanks) said while on the phone; “The most important thing I have to do right now is to be talking with you”. The other was; 2.] “Striving to be better today than you were the day before”. Paraphrasing with my bad grammar…. In my life and in my job, I will always try to keep these two thoughts in mind. Thank you for your inspiration Fred Rogers. -Tom
