The Torah is a compilation of the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.

Although it is known as the Pentateuch or Christians know it as the Five Books of Moses, it is known as the Written Torah in Jewish tradition.

Although the first five books are often referred to as the Torah, some references to the Torah reference the entire Hebrew Bible.

The complete Torah comprises 24 books, and in Hebrew, the term means “to guide” or “to teach.”
