Why You Are Exactly Where You Need To Be In Life
The universe has an uncanny way of placing you exactly where you need to be in life.
Just as Harry Potter found himself at the doorstep of Privet Drive, we, too, can find solace in the notion that our current circumstances have a purpose.
Many times, we simply think that our choices have consequences that lead us somewhere, but there is more to life than that.
Through introspection and self-acceptance, we will unravel the mysteries surrounding our existence and gain a newfound appreciation for our journeys.
Keep reading to discover more about why you are exactly where you need to be in life.
Why you are exactly where you need to be in life
It’s easy to complain that you aren’t where you want to be.
However, in reality, you are exactly where you need to be.
I know that sounds harsh.
You may be thinking, “What’s she talking about? I don’t like what’s happening in my life right now.”
I say that you are where you need to be because there are lessons that you have to learn and life tests that you need to pass before you can graduate to that next phase.
Unfortunately, the place you need to be right now may be uncomfortable.
However, progress begins at the end of your comfort zone.
You may need to reside in the uncomfortable zone for a while for these four reasons:
#1. You Need to Learn a Lesson
To level up, you need to have the proper foundation for you to succeed.
This requires lessons that you need to learn now in your current experiences.
If you don’t pass the test or learn those lessons, you will keep repeating those situations until you understand what you need to know.
Understanding these key lessons will develop your faith muscles and put you in a better position to help others.
#2. You Need to Grow
You want to move to your next level at the right time and with the right mindset.
If that doesn’t happen, then you may squander your blessings.
Think about it this way.
If you significantly increase your income but haven’t learned how to manage your money, you may waste your money and eventually go broke.
Therefore, you must develop the right mindset to be able to handle your next level.
#3. Appreciate what you have
One thing that holds many of us back is a lack of gratitude.
Without gratitude, you can’t appreciate what you have; you covet what others have, and then you go broke trying to keep up with them.
Be a good steward of and be thankful for what you do have.
Then, you can position yourself to receive more.
#4. Preparation
You may be where you need to be at this stage in life because you need to pause and listen to where you are being led.
This time of reflection is also a time of preparation, so you have the personal development and skills you need to succeed in this new space.
Take the time to listen, tune out the noise, and reflect and meditate.
You are exactly where you need to be in life to get to your next level
Don’t compare yourself to others if you feel like you’re on a plateau.
You don’t know what they’ve gone through to get to where they are.
You are exactly where you are supposed to be to get to your next phase in life.
If you want what someone else has, then you have to be willing to walk in their shoes, endure the challenges that they have faced, and make similar sacrifices.
Don’t covet their blessing even if you’re willing to make those sacrifices.
Instead, use it as inspiration to push through your plateau to get to your next level.
Remember, you are exactly where you need to be in life
Stay laser-focused on doing the work required to uncover your own blessings and achieve your dreams.
There is a reason you are where you are right now.

Dear and respected Aisha,
It is so nice, the way your helpful suggestions are written. In Indian Philosophy, a Marathi-saint said “Thevile Ananthi, taisechi rahave”. That means ‘keep your self, where the Lord [Ananthi] considers you to mature so as to proceed to the next stage’. I am remembering the scene from 36th chamber of Shoalin. The boy shouts at the master- have I come here to sweep? The Master repeats- keep doing your job; thy senior knows what to do and when to shift you to the next step.More to write! great people like you don’t need that.
Thank you,
K N Rao.
